A brand design client once shared with me, after signing off on her new logo, that for her the goal was not entirely to have a big successful busy business but rather to simply walk towards her dream of working with others. The logo symbolized her decision to move forward.
This struck me as I’d not considered the win for my clients not being a growth business. My client was in transition and for her, simply going through the process of designing a logo meant she was moving forward.
Most often big wins will happen over time and show up in subtle ways. I honor the work you have done and continue to do.
